Years ago I used to hear folks complain that their eyes were going (especially reading distance) as they got older.
Truth is I was always mildly amused by this fact as I always had 20/20 vision. Then, about 4 years ago I noticed that reading, say, menus in restaurants required extending the menu farther away from my face than previously required. This led to a purchase of 1.25 reading glasses from the drugstore – o.k. it was Costco because they were 3 pairs for cheap, cheap, cheap. Recently I do believe that that my sight has gotten worse still. I am getting ready to move up the ladder and graduate to 1.50.
Where will it end I ask you?
